about

This is my 2016 Christmas single. It consists of two tracks that I found lying around being lazy and doing nothing. It's about time they earned their keep.

Geeches of the Sea was recorded in 2004 and written in the '90s at some point. Paper Bees was recorded in 2007, and written shortly afterwards.

Here are some things to listen to. If you like that sort of thing. Listening to things like this, that is.

I hope you do like that.

They are no better than they ought to be.

Track Name: Geeches of the Sea
Let me be, let me be, let me be upon the beach,
Let me stand upon the sand, while the waves crawl in my eyes,
Let me see, let me see, let me see under the sea,
Let me slide amongst the tides until my bones are washed clean.

This has no bite, it is light, we are frothy,
We are creatures of the sea, we are very strangely shaped,
The world is too real to describe the way we feel,
We are Geeches of the sea.

Here is a light, let us head out for the lighthouse,
We were sticky in the mud, now we're salty in the sea,
Flashing skies, amber eyes, nails are fine like hailstones,
Is power in the storm, enough for us to be.

This is the night when the twins can be truthful,
We are creatures of the sea, we are very strangely shaped,
The world is too real to describe the way we feel,
We are Geeches of the sea.

This has no bite, it is light, we are frothy,
We are creatures of the sea, we are very strangely shaped,
The world is too real to describe the way we feel,
We are Geeches of the sea.
